Breeding and raising Purebred Shorthorn Cattle and working stock dogs, Australian Shepherds

Our cattle are Native, Dual-Purpose and Double Registered, 100% purebred Shorthorns that trace back to the 1822 Coates herd book or the 1830 Clay Importation. They have no other breeds or have any Irish breeding in them. 

We strive for moderately framed cattle with sound structure and good feet.   Long-lived, nice udders, growthy calves, and gentle dispositions.

Our cattle are easy keeping, forage­ efficient, healthy, and productive, with the additional value of high quality beef and milk.
