We are a family farm and all have a part in farming.  Horses, Cattle, Sheep and Goates.

At SL our primary goal is to preserve the working nature of the Australian Shepherd, maintaining its high level of intelligence and ability to think on its own. Our dogs are structurally sound, correct, athletic dogs with the heart to tackle any task.  Our dogs are suitable for the rancher as well as the family. We take pride in all our animals and look forward to sharing with you our love and passion for the Aussie!

THE WORKING DOG

The Australian Shepherd is a highly devoted and intelligent dog, an exceptional working partner as well as an extremely loyal companion. Its natural athletic ability and keen awareness, enable it to be a perfect companion for almost any activity, herding, agility, search and rescue tracking, swimming and jogging partner. Overall, the Aussie is a good-natured, confident breed with the eagerness to achieve and please, excelling at nearly everything it attempts.

We try to breed for the "Old Time" lines and excellence, where temperament, brains with herding ability. Over these years, many of these traits have been bred out of the Australian Shepherd.   We have Purebred Registered Shorthorn Cattle, Purebred Registered Arabian Horses and Purebred Registered Australian Shepherds.
